    Maybe... first step would be an airbag that will retract and reset almost as easily as it deploys. Otherwise, you think there are too many slowdowns in the game now..?

    You can put all the padding and plastic on your head that you want. Fact is any sudden deacceleration will result in your brain bouncing off the inside of your skull.

    Football is a problem because it happens every play. How do you limit that?
