I just figured our O would not be stymied that much by their D.

 

2 things of note,

1.) If or when we become "mathematically" eliminated from the playoffs, our "HC" HC should sit Cox, give Byard all of R. Johnson's snaps, and give Henry 15+ carries a game. Hell, I want that now!

2.) Even though we took an L, it feels good to NOT be mathematically eliminated from the playoffs by Thanksgiving.

 

how is a punt return supposed to go to a coverage guy and not the actual kick returner?

This sucks. Just disappointed at the game. Many of us knew the defense was junk before the season and to see it cost yet another game is frustrating. I'm still trying my best to be patient for next year. With a good D, this team will not only compete week in and out, they will win more of these close games.

For those talking about playoffs, that ship is all but gone. Best Tennessee can do in the division is 3-3 (0-2 vs. F'n Ind) which means we have to have an outright better record than them. 9-7 may cut it, but that means 4-1 down the stretch. That's asking a lot. Plus, as bad as Houston and Ind are, they're still pulling down some wins they shouldn't have.
