****ing sucks. I really believe if he and Jake locker had an open competition next year with a new coach Jake would come out on top, if not for the whole injury thing.

I called this after watching a lot of preseason games after his first NFC championship game.

Dude has ridiculously bad accuracy, I will admit I was hoping we drafted him, but dam he blows. I wouldnt be suprised if he's not a starter next year under any coach not named harbaugh...or Kelly...
Also watching this game 12 minutes left down by 16 and he's looking like a sad d bag on the sideline, then when Seattle punts and he's walking on the field he waits till he's almost in the huddle to put his helmet on, get some pep in your step and try to lead your team sucka! And as I'm writing this he throws a int to Sherman...
Also he has 80 yards and only 15 yac. Meaning he's only hitting still targets, within 8 yards .

I think this is a big reason harbaughs "losing his locker room," his team knows with Alex smith they have at least one ring...

He doesn't have the work ethic, is too concerned with being the 'face'.

Totally disagree about them having a ring if Alex Smith was there.

This year, they would be better off with Alex Smith. No doubt. But when Kaep took Smith's job in 2012 he was lighting it up. His games against the Bears, Patriots, and Packers (playoffs) still stick in my mind and immediately made me a believer.

Well, I was wrong. He sucks. But Gabbert is their backup.

At least now you don't look like a full blown moron for thinking Locker could be better than him. I still disagree with that... because Kaep's overall resume against teams not named the Seahawks is still pretty solid. They just have his number. He's going to be the 49ers starter for at least another season. He's very much going to be in a prove it situation next season. I'm pretty sure they structured his huge contract so that they could bail after a couple seasons if he doesn't live up to expectations.

But you still do look like a full blown moron for saying Locker is better than Russell Wilson. Lol

Who knows... Maybe the Niners will sign Locker to backup Kaep next season. And maybe he'll get a shot at some point. There's no way the Niners roll with Gabbert as a backup next season. Idk what the hell they were thinking on that one.

Seattle would be an absolute perfect fit for Locker as a backup though... and it makes sense because he's from Washington and went to school in Seattle.

Kaep played like p00 yesterday, but I think he is good.

If they Titans had him and someone other than Whiz, they'd be in better shape.

Guy sucks. Took teams around the league a few games to figure him out, but he's been straight a$$ cheeks since then.

He's a guy I thought would take the next step and be truly special. He certainly has all the physical tools. More than anyone else in the league, probably. Insane mobility and a f**king cannon for an arm.

It has to be mental. Either he's too dumb or he doesn't put in the work.

Told this board that he was crap 2 years ago. It's clear he's always been a one read QB, if he can't go to his primary read he panics. This is why you don't draft spread QB's into the NFL unless you give them the proper time needed to learn an NFL offense... cough, cough, RG3.

Locker sucks. It's not even the can't stay healthy thing either. He can't throw the damn ball to save his life.

I wouldn't want either QB on my team, but if I had to pick one, It wouldn't even be a hard choice.
