That's a stunning thought ; Glass Billy is the best we've had since 1999 apart from the very minimal VY "golden" run of a couple of games. I remember that garbage game against the Chiefs ( I think ) when Glass Billy and Drew Bennett hooked up for a stupid amount of completions and yards.....happy days.

As far as a number ... well its just a number for the most part. I would retire #9 for obvious reasons but I think that pretty much everything is fair game , including 27 much as Eddie was such a great player. I'm just happy wearing my 66 jersey over here in the UK ( Reebok Customised Version ). I'm 51 and will willingly wear the jersey to Walmart. At least over here no-one comes up to me and says " hey , you are the guys with the sh1t coach !"

 

And he shouldn't wear #11 either if he is given a choice.....that's Rusty "The Rifle" Smith's number

 

There will be a lot of #7 Jerseys worn in the next year or so over in Africa........

It's a shame, but since Bud is gone so did a lot of the ties with the Oilers. Where does Moon, Jefferies, Givens, Hill, Duncan, etc.....go for the team reunions, 20 year anniversary, and so forth?

I'm excited for Cobb's return to see if we actually have a RB of the future but chances are Whis will rotate him with Dexter, Andrews & Sankey and Cobb averages 3 carries a game for the rest of the season lol
