    From colleague David Climer …

Chris Johnson ran for 65 yards against the Falcons, averaging 5.9 yards per carry. He carried on the first four plays of the second half, ripping off a 20-yarder on the third play.

“We just want to continue to get better and better every week through practicing and then when we come out here on game day, try to get better, too,” he said. “I feel like we’re moving in the right direction.”

On a third-and-1 in the first half, Johnson gave way to short-yardage back Shonn Greene, who ran for three yards and the first down. But in the third quarter, Johnson stayed on the field on third-and-1. That carry resulted in his 20-yard run.
