not a true SS and we dont need another NB anymore

before we signed butler i wouldve said yes but now... probably not

 

How is he at stopping the run and covering tight ends?

 

I actually think he is a true SS, they just put him a NB because he's versatile enough and the cards needed that. I'm down to go get him.

I'd also keep Cyprien. Doesn't make sense to just cut him. Clearly he's not the best cover safety but he does bring value in other ways. Plus no more Searcy so we need the depth and ration. Just keep him in the box.

 

I would be down with playing 5 DBs as our base and just have our front 6 just focus on stuffing the run.

 

Honey badger a day too late

not a SS and we now have 3 guys who can play inside and out at CB, not gonna come here..

 

I'd rather have Ronnie Hillman, Derwin James, or Reid from Stanford at this point. We've already got a good bit of money in our secondary. If we need to improve it more, go to the draft.

Honestly, as many talented playmakers as we have back there, I'd be fine with leaving Cyp at SS so he can help against the run. We need someone to keep our run D up after losing Williamson in FA.
