Bad QB does NOT equal bad receivers. Bad qb = bad qb. Bad wr=bad wr.

Watch film, that's how you know. Quote cherry picked stats means you don't want the truth...you just want to justify your hate.

Get over it or leave this whining about Mariota in a Mariota thread.

Or went really RIGHT!!! Henry running like a beast, everyone staying healthy, Mariota bringing his A game consistently, staying in a 3 wr set 90% and making teams pay for whatever defense they want to 'live' in (run against nickel and throw against base) giving us good matchups!

Hey, you can't quote stats that show Mariota isn't terrible!!! I don't think ABC would allow that! Don't you know you have to cherry pick stats to make our qb look as bad as possible!!! People might stop listening to them!!!

    Come on!!!

    LOL!!!

Taywan has a special skill, and that is being really, really fast. Not track star fast, but football fast. He can run away from people. That's a skill that you must utilize. If he gets the ball with some space to run, he's gone. He got behind the defense on many occasions last year, and that was while the #2 CB was on him. If he's suddenly #3-4, that's going to put a lot of stress on the defense, because he still has to be accounted for.

I get that Brown is a great prospect, but Taylor was insanely productive in college. He averaged around 100 yards per game against SEC competition, including over 100 at Alabama. He had nearly 1,000 yards on catches of 20+ yards alone. He's going to see the field for us or whoever else he plays for, because that type of game speed isn't that common, and big plays are valuable. How much he sees the field is the question. If he improves, it will be a lot. If not, then it will be a little

Taylor was productive in college because he didn't have to make catches outside his frame or be tasked with making contested catches. There is a place for him on this team. But his days of being relied on to move the chains are over.

You mean like this? (Start with 2nd video)

If you can win a contested catch against Ramsey, then you have the ability to do it. He needs to get a lot more consistent at several things, but ability isn't his problem.
