C.J. sees progress for rushing offense

No, he underwhelmed. But he did get it going later in the season. Collectively, he's overperformed. Nobody thought he'd be more than just a situational scat back.

Even though CJ looked better, I'd much rather have Doug Martin. That kid runs, blocks and plays hard. He's not nearly as fast, but he hits the hole hard and can break a tackle. Reminds me a lot of Ray Rice.

You'd rather have a guy that hasn't played a single play in regular season and has looked very unimpressive in both preseason games? lol at least wait until he plays good once in his NFL career.

I thought CJ looked a lot more decisive and was actually making people miss for once. That was encouraging.

However, remember his best game last year was also against the Bucs. They suck at stopping the run and their D is terrible. So though he looked good, let's take it with a grain of salt.

 

I admit looked better thursday night than he has since 2009.

I am not amused how commentators, Mike Keith Im talking about you, casually drop that 2010 had a thiegh injury - but the Titans denied there was anything at all wrong with that whole season. 2011 was nothing but 'next week will break out' for 17 weeks. Well did punish a couple of junior college Ds towards the end 2011
