Rumor Browns possibly shopping CB Joe Haden

Would love him on this team, but they're going to want picks. Are we in a position to move what could/should be two key, young additions at the next draft? Just not sure, but he would make me feel even better in this crappy division, that's for sure.

 

Ravens just fired their OC Marc Trestman. For the Robiskie haters there you go....

 

He is certainly an upgrade over what we have. He becomes a FA in 2020 and so that means we would have him for 3 yrs at about 10.6mil per yr.

I would trade our 1st to the Browns for Hayden and their 2nd. This would basically be dropping back 16-20 picks and getting a proven pro-bowl CB.

I can assure you that on the open FA market after the season a pro-bowl CB is going to get much more than what Haden is under contract for.

 

The Browns are not strapped for money, why is Haden being rumored as trade bait?

In 5 years he will be worthless. Browns aren't getting out of the basement for at least 5 years.

 

This late in the year finding a QB that can play is really hard. I mean look, they picked up Whitehurst and now he's hurt. Maybe they want someone with experience off a roster and the only way they get it it with him. I bet we could trade Cassel. Remember, they wanted Tanney earlier this year. They are hurting.

 

Trade for him now, mortgage the future!

 

Tanney rejected them lol, its bad when you have a QB choosing the practice squad of another team over joining your active roster.

But yea Im all up for shipping Cassel and something else for Haden.
