Posted by's Paul Kuharsky How did the Titans offense struggle Sunday in Houston?

Let ESPN Stats & Information show us the ways...

In the first quarter, the Titans rushed five times for 35 yards, a 7 yard-per-carry average. But over the final three quarters that average dipped to 3.4 (19 carries for 65 yards).

The Titans were averaging 4.5 yards per carry on first down heading into Sunday's game. Chris Johnson ran 16 yards on the first play of the game. From there, 11 first-down rushes produced 29 yards -- an average of 2.6 yards. That set up many second-and-longs for Kerry Collins.
