Bennett gone ?

    I'd bet if we lost Bennett and signed Stallworth he'd wear #83 like he did in NO, purely speculation but I think the only reason he changed numbers in Philly was because Gregg Lewis already wore #83

    the best part of this hole thing is how bennett speaks like hes gonna get top 10 wide out money! haha yea. if hes that big headed then.....CYA later! id take donte sounds good to me instead of bennett.

    That doesn't say that he wants number 1 money. His value would be greatly inflated on the market, and it's hard to blame him. I'd hope that's just a statement, and we make a solid offer and he takes it.

    And Reinfeldt isn't going to sign Bennett long-term to WR#1 pay. That's the kind of mistake that will get us in salary cap trouble down the line.

    It's not that I don't like Bennett. I just don't want to bankrupt the future with any bad deals.

    this will be their 3rd year , a year when most WR's break out
    it took guys like Joe Horn 4 years to break out

    so i wouldn't give up on them just yet
