Yeah but even so, that more or less implies he wanted to be a starter.
And just exactly how would he get more involved with the defense unless someone got hurt? We already have our nickel back in Fuller. I couldn't see Carr upstaging him. We all know he wasn't as good as Harper (and that says something), and we dang sure know he wouldn't have unseated Finny.
    Where would he be involved?
I wish we could have kept Carr as well, but apparently he wanted to try to fix something that wasn't broken (or where is CB skills are concerned...WAS broken).

I wish yall had signed Carr, he has been terrible for us in all facets of the game. Unreliable hands on punt and kickoff returns. No burst. No ability to break tackles. No breakaway speed.

At CB he's getting picked on like he's Deron Jenkins or something.

You are correct. I hate when people complain about the money that pro athletes make. Think about when they are out of the league at 28-30 and trying to get a job....

"So, I see here that you spent 6 years as a cornerback in the NFL"

Point is that a lot of guys go through not only tough times emotionally after leaving the NFL, but their bodies take a beating and they really feel it as they get older.

But yes, as much as I love Titans football, a lot these guys really don't care at the end of the week when they get that paycheck. It's entertainment. They wouldn't do it for free, just as Elton John wouldn't play free concerts.

Chris Carr may have wanted to play CB, but we didn't throw enough money at him is my guess.

To me, an athlete is going to appear more professional if they just up front admit they would like more money, than to sit there and vehemently deny that it's about the money when they and we know that they are lying.
Don't know about you guys, but that insults my intelligence.

    Sorry, just had to say-

that whole 'he wanted to be a starter' might be true, but it's NOT the reason he didn't stay here. If he wanted to truly be a starter- he wouldn't have gone to Baltimore.

    Doesn't make any sense.

Dante Hall is a free agent. Haven't seen him in a while, he couldn't have dropped off that much, could he?

Also, field position is based more on how poorly we've defended the pass so far. We weren't great last year, but we weren't terrible either.

Dante hall is so 2000 and late.

Baltimore had lost both its starters last season (well at least Rolle and Mcalister), Baltimore was probably his best option considering Harper and Finnegan were entrenched as starters here.

i know you weren't the OP. but you began the whole "he wanted to be a starter vs. the money argument, and that was my issue. I will roll my eyes and put cat pictures up to my heart's desire. I've been here longer than you. nanannana.
