I was never a rabid Gatti fan, but I respected the hell out of the way the guy could brawl and take a damn punch. This celebrity death stuff is getting absurd...

His fights with Ward (also dead now, oddly enough) were classic.

That makes 3 fighters dead from the best 2 fights of the past decade. Weird.

When did Ward die...? I did a check and could find nothing on this.

Man, after I wrote that I questioned it just for a second. For some reason I could have swore I heard news a while back that he had died. My mistake (what a mistake to make...)

He's alive, as there are now articles about how a piece of him died when Gatti did. Could have swore I heard the news that he passed away about a year back.

According to reports they think his wife strangled him while he was passed out drunk. Is it me or does it seem like some of these women are getting crazier and crazier by the minute? Its got me sleeping next to my wife with one eye open.
