I know he can be bad but he played his heart out in the playoffs with a bad wrist, I think he will be fine.

Yea I tend to think he wanted out a while back but money talks so he stayed

if 'lowballing' was making him near the highest paid qb in the league... sure... lowballing lol

 

They made a big deal about their offers, but they were all pretty crap from what I remember. As in, they weren't anything better than if they just tagged him for last year and this year. So from his point of view, he might was well just go out into the market rather than take some short term deal that he could get from playing on the tag anyways.

None of the offers were long term, nor for any more than he'd make on the tag.

 

Less guaranteed money on the tag too.
