I have no qualms with him wanting them to hear his opinion but to think the business is run like he is one of the owners is preposterous.

 

I wouldn't expect he's going to be a diva about it. If you read the article these are "sources" relaying this information. He hasn't even spoke publicly about it. I would expect, privately, most QBs would be upset that the team cut a receiver who routinely put up 1,000+ yards and 10+ TDs for them. Not to mention I'm sure they were good friends.

 

If Davante Adams is your best option, you need more options. They have none. 9 YPC Jimmy Graham and 9 YPC Randall Cobb certainly aren't going to cut it.

I've watched every GB game over the past 3 years. He is good. But now they have $30M tied up in 3 receivers who combined for 2,000 yard last year, two of which who couldn't even break 10 YPC. Rodgers can find anyone in the end zone, but he eventually needs someone who can gain separation between the 20s, and Adams isn't really a field stretching WR, as good a he is. It's like lining up with Michael Crabtree as your best WR with no running game or defense, and expecting to win games.
