49ers RB Anthony Dixon

Except he can barely average 3 yards per carry with an average run blocking team, so imagine him with the worst run blocking team in the league.

 

No team carries 5 RB's, so someone is doomed. If I had to guess I'd say Jacobs gets cut, I watched almost all of the Giants games last year, and he's garbage.

As big of a man as he is, it's amazing how he handles contact, he just stops and goes down, but usually in the form of slipping, no one pushes him backwards, he just slips a lot.

 

Another player who may be the odd man out is Da'Rel Scott in New York. Giants are loaded at RB and he really hasn't had much opportunity. He has a simlar knock to a lot of smaller RBs (i.e. can't block), but he is lightning in space and is every bit as good as Reynaud.

 

From what Ive seen of him the past 2 years he slips a lot, a little too much. CJ folds and gives up, it looks intentional. Jacobs keeps moving his feet. He's clumsy now that I think of it.

 

Jacobs has always sucked.

Got hype merely for being big. Never understood it.

 

I like Da'Rel Scott, has a great burst, and CJ-like top speed (2011 CJ that is). I'd give him a shot if we didn't already have so many RB's.

 

I'm gonna try out next year. CJ and CJ in the backfield would be a great tandem. I don't mind running between the tackles, I can catch, and I can block.

 

Jacobs got injured, so they might keep Dixon now.
