Honestly think Adoree hit the rookie wall... as much as our defense is on the field. Legitimate.

 

i have a sneaking suspicion that no CB will ever play good in a zone defense that gives receivers 8 yard cushions.

 

The odds of getting 2 yards on a run are much better than passing. You can't seriously be arguing against picking the type of play with the best chance to succeed??
Could a different run play have been better? Maybe, but I remember seeing a pretty big gap between Lewan and Spain. Murray didn't.

DeMarco Murray has a fetish for running to his lineman and falling over & for some reason Derrick Henry was only on the field for 16% of the snaps.

 

I disagree the way the offense played all day. Almost zero effectiveness with the run and Mariota was doing a pretty good job passing all over.
I think a pass would have been more reliable to get the 2 yards.
Mularkey 1 up'd the bad call by using Murray instead of Henry.

@GoT called it. Mularkey was more than pleased with a 53(?) yard FG attempt and allowing his terrible defense try to come up with a big play, which they hadn't done all game outside the Walden INT.
