2022 QB Prospect Grades

I know Dobbs gave us a better chance to win but the it would've been nice to see Willis in those games used how Dobbs was

 

I think it’s obvious the reason Willis wasn’t used that way is because he couldn’t do it.

 

I'd agree if in that awful situation he showed ANY indication of being ANYTHING other than terrible. He showed terrible play after play.

Very small samples and hugely different scenarios.

Willis would have looked better with 49ers and Purdy like us with Titans.

 

I was thinking earlier today, I would like to see him in the preseason after a change at OC and OL coach. I dont have a lot of faith in his likelihood of being an NFL starter, but still.

 

I absolutely want him to have that opportunity. It will cost nothing to do it either.
Down to 3 games and I want starters to actually get some reps, but I don’t see a whole lot of QB competition going on.

 

Willis sucks. Not accurate. Low football IQ. Not that fast. Doesn’t have a winners attitude. No potential. Move along.

 

"Oh it's preseason". "Oh it's his first start" "Oh he doesn't have any help".

Excuse after excuse as to why Willis is terrible. But I think he's terrible just because he is. Watch the guy play and there is ZERO indication of him being anything. Take out every other factor and he just doesn't look the part. If there was something there, it would show even in bad circumstances.

I don't know that I've seen fans and media hold on to so much hope for such a bad player, ever. Lol It's so weird.
