Ok let me do this. -

8 Bama opponents ranked in the top 44 in scoring defense, 7 in the top 35. Wisconsin is #1. In those games Bama averaged 29.5 offensive points.

They obviously proved they can run the ball on anybody Henry led the nation in rushing and won the Heisman.

 

The history of analysis in these games has been to disrespect the Bama QB, disrespect or be totally ignorant of the outside play makers and generalize about what kind of team Bama is.

Mcelroy was disrespected in 2009 as a far inferior QB to Tim Tebow and he had the game of his life in beating Florida is the sec championship game.

McCarron was totally discounted in 2011 and had a great game in the national championship game against LSU and a near perfect game against Notre Dame the following year.

Again the same thing happens, you hear that after Henry there isn't much. Coker was inferior to Conner Cook etc.

In reality Coker is a fine QB and the collection of play makers is among the best in college football. Ridley is elite, Stewart is very very good giving Bama a top notch cadre of WRs. Then you add OJ Howard and a healthy Kenyon Drake and along with Henry who is better?

 

SEC is dominating. Clemson is arguably the most sec like school outside the conference.

Southern football is clearly a cut above the rest of the country.

 

Bama scored 38 points against the same defense that held OSU to 14 points.
