I'll give you Greg Olsen, he's a solid target, can't block though. Jeremy Shockey isn't anything great anymore. And a kicker, seriously? When is that even news worthy.

Yes, they'll improve that's what I have them at 5-11 instead of 2-14. They still have a giant hole at #2 and #3 WR. DeAngelo Williams needs to stay healthy, and their DBs are just average at best.

Do you honestly see them being better than the Falcons, Bucs, or Saints by simply re-signing all their players, drafting a probable bust at QB (again), and added 2 TEs and a K?

 

reports say they havesigned ray edwards to a deal and will be signed friday too...there is a decent d-end combo edwards is decent we will see if he was a product of the system in minny but johnson seemed to play decent last year....by far the strongest thing carolina has going for them is their lb corps

Anybody know anything on Jordan Babineaux? Maybe one of the Seahawks fans that came to the board since we took Locker/Hasselbeck.

Seems like he did solid in '09 with 104 tackles, but then lost his starting spot to Earl Thomas in '10 and only had 46 tackles, playing as a backup SS/FS and in the nickle (sounds like our Fuller). He's only 28, could be a decent 1-2 year starter at SS.

 

Jamaal Anderson, DE, Falcons was just released.

Ex-first round pick. 6'6 290. Only 25 years old... 4.5 career sacks in 47 career starts (wow!). I wouldn't mind signing him on the cheap for depth.

 

Did somebody say that Ray Edwards has been signed already?

 

I'd rather be shot in the head. He is bad. Really bad.

 

Anderson is awful (a complete bust) and, to clear up the rumors, Ray Edwards is NOT signed.

 

Jordan Babineaux was a LB in college that Seattle converted to SS because of his speed and athleticism. He's a tweener that has great measureables but just can't find a position or put it all together on the field. Too small to be an OLB, not athletic enough to be a quality Safety.
