Ever since Mularkey has been gone it's like my whole life has changed for the better. Food tastes better. The air smells like warm Dr Pepper. And I can't explain it, but there are bunnies.

same exact record with a much harder schedule and tingly qb

the gap between this years sos and last years is bigger than the gap between the top and lowest SOS this year

Where did you find this stat? Not saying it isn't right, but that's just a super random stat

It feels like we had a much tougher schedule. Mostly because the AFCS was a whole lot better. We also got the NFC East which was overall better than the 2017 NFC West.

also last year we played watson and luck a combined of 1 game. just those three games against those qbs this year made it way harder. not even including the tougher teams, and the amount of other 2nd/3rd string qbs we faced last year

yeah, that has a lot to do with how much better the AFCS was this year. Healthy Watson and Luck. It made up for Jacksonville being a lot worse.

AFCS was arguably the best division, think on that lol.

Either way, it was a tougher schedule this year.

Overall I think Vrabel probably had slightly more talent on defense. He had a much better secondary with the addictions of Butler and Vaccaro, and an improved Jackson. Which makes up for the significant loss of production from OLB. ILB was better from a pass D perspective though I believe run D suffered with the loss of Williamson.

Offense though, it was not even close, Vrabel had way less to work with. The only plus for him was improved play from Cory Davis. Conk missed a lot of time and was not the same when he did play. Lewan missed time, so did their top backup. Walker, our best offensive player since 2013, was out all year and Rashad turned into a punk ass *****. And Demarco Murray (other than the end of the year) was better than Dion Lewis.

Wow. I understand most of you are a product of incestuous relationships, but it’s not hard to understand the point that Mariota’s “regression” was almost entirely driven by injury. That’s why we have rate stats to tell us these things. You do know what rate stats are, don’t you?
