Oh no, he di'n't.
Hey, I loved the Collins win. We all did. I loved the dink and dump to Scaife. We all did. It was great stuff. It was the performance of the season. I hope he can do it again over a 4 game stretch. I had no intention of glossing it over. Collins was amazing. But if you want to compare Collins to Young, it's only fair to look their time qb'ing the same team, and Young got the results while Collins got sandblasted. I hope for a much different result this time. We need it.
I think the first games of 2006 are a totally unfair glimpse of what Collin's has. He barely even had time to look at the playbook let alone digest it. I don't think a true comparison can even be made anyways. Maybe in a month if Vince is out and the team is 5-0 and putting up major offense... I don't think we have fair base comparisons, however, most anyone should agree that to date Vince has not lived up to our expectations and is by in large a disappointment.
Some guys like to throw that w/l record around and I think that stat is BULL primarily because this team wins on defense. With average/mediocre d we are well under the .500 with no playoffs.
and oh yeah Jeff, I did say it. I said it to your face yesterday. Vince is demonstrating game after game just how inept he truly is. I don't think I have ever seen such stooooooooopid interceptions on any level. Especially the second one coming on the heels of the pick that supposed to save us.
The Tennessee Titans do not win games because of Vince Young. The Tennessee Titans win games in spite of Vince Young.
Young on Crutches After Win
Is he propping his ears on them? His head is what needs the support.
