Young May be Willing to Reduce Salary

I think Vince realized if he got cut next year, he could make the $2M or so that Carr and Harrington received after their exits from Houston and Detroit, respectively...or nothing at all. It's a good play. I'm sure he's holding out hope that he gets his chance to turn it all around this season, hence the "might", but he'd have to play pretty well from the first month and on to deserve not getting a reduction, IMO. Writing's on the wall, but at least he's reading it.

I hope he's humble enough to take a $10-12mil cut. However, I don't see him being that smart of a business man.

He's gunna have to be humble enought to take that kind of a pay cut. He'll either be taking a pay cut from us, or pretty much any other team that signs him....or be out of the NFL.

See, I don't think he realizes that that's what he'll be getting no matter what. The ego of the guy is ridiculous. He will probably think it's ridiculous that we're trying to take away $10-12mil from him and want out of here. I'm not sure who would even want him... I guess someone will take a chance on him.
