Now I know he will never be a Gronk, Hernandez, Graham, or Gates type TE.

But he gets out there and takes care of his business.

So far on the year he is 7 receptions for 114 yards. All of last year he was 9 for 166.

He's a good blocker and will be a good outlet guy for Jake for quite some time.

Oh, and the refs screwed up on that reversal call. Even while taking a vicious hit, he tucked it against his thigh and hip till he could fully roll over and secure it. Never touched the ground.

He definitely deserves props. Played a great game and he is shaping up to be a great TE.

Wrong whiteboy TE. That was Thompson and it was a colossal hit. All three of our TEs had great games.

I love how teams never see a big Stevens play coming. I always wish they'd get him a little more involved in the passing game, not as a blocker. Maybe we will more this season. He did deserve his signing, even though fan stats don't suggest it.
