yep I work down the street from where all of that happened myself. Due to I-40 being basically closed to 2 semis turned over I ended up driving through the neighborhood that had all of the trees and power lines dow. A normal 20 minute drive howm took 90 minutes.
I really wouldn't be laughing and saying anyone was wrong about all of this... Busts happen all the time in the Weather World. The setup was definitely perfect for some huge storms.... You all should be thankful it didn't happen..... Could have been much much much worse.
By the way if anyone is interested there was about 10-11 touchdowns (of tornadoes not the football term) on Wednesday.
Watch the smaller storm coming on Sunday produce more Tornadoes than this one that was projected to.
So when a Tornado hits near you, what do you guys do?
We don't ever get them so it's all new.
We really don't do anything but take pictures and sit on the porch. They NEVER actually touch down. Only once in a couple of years.
there was a dozen or so people killed last year in TN by tornadoes.
