You act like it's unfathomable for Williams to produce a somewhat decent defense while Munchak and Loggains produce a train wreck on offense like we all know they will..

Yes but I'm somewhat dyslexic so I jumble words and don't always get the full message, sorry.

    No.

    1) He's tied to Munchak now, so if Munch goes, so does Williams.

    2) Getting reinstated is one thing, but I still think he's far too toxic to be a head coach. Doubt it ever happens again and definitely not for a few years.

    So, no.

As much as I wish we could all just point and laugh at the absurdity of this thread I think we all know deep down that it IS a possibility, however remote. We could have all thought of a thousand reasons why Mike Munchak wouldn't/shouldn't be hired too.

Last two hires have been in-house promotions.

That said, I hope either Munch succeeds or we completely blow it all up. I haven't witnessed a full-on blowup since the team moved here and I started following them. So I remain skeptical of the chances of that happening.

Gray would be as responsible for any success... probably more.

And why are expectations for the defense any better than the offense? The offense ranked higher last season with the majority of OL injured and some very sub-par QB play.

I don't see how this is a stupid poll.

This is a very realistic question in my opinion.

Verner was on sirius nfl radio earlier. Said he was really excited about Williams and his defensive schemes. His college defensive coordinator was brought up by Williams and ran the same schemes at UCLA. Maybe Verner has a breakout year?

Not to break my character and get optimistic or anything.

I remember Mike getting hired after a pretty lackluster performance from the O-line so I wouldn't try to use reasoning behind this. We don't do things that-a-way.
