Why do you care who cares?
Because the more hype these irrelevant 40 times get, the more bull**** we have to see on it.
It doesn't ****ing matter, and yet every where, some **** gets over/under drafted because of it.
Hate to break it to you but 40s will never not matter
of course not, because people can't see how pointless they are
40's matter. No one wants a RB that run 5.0 or a sub 6'0 CB who runs 4.7 or slower. Yes speed does not equal success in the nfl but it is a common trait you will find among the better players in most of the offensive skill positions and defensive secondary.
I like how its the extremes of the situation and cannot be anything else.
It doesn't override (lack of) football skills, but 40's are huge.
