McNair's stats as a Ratbird are almost identical to that of his final season with the Titans..

As a matter of fact, McNair had more passing yards in 05 despite not playing at all in 2 games.

Plus McNair and Mason are both 'Oiler/Titans'

Or atleast McNair played in Houston and Mason played in TN before the name change.

  7. NickSmith.....I wouldn't consider McCarriens production even remotely pretty good, I would say (So would all Jet fans) very, very disappointing. I do not understand that love affair with this guy. As green as our WR corp is, I still don’t know if he would even be the #3...Here are is stats, I don’t think Jerry Rice has anything to fret ::::::::>>>

Year Team GP GS No Yds Avg Lg TD No Yds Avg Lg TD
    2001 TEN 4 1 3 88 29.3 36 0 0 0 - 0
    2002 TEN 16 1 19 301 15.8 55 2 2 18 9.0 16 0
    2003 TEN 16 10 47 813 17.3 73 7 1 13 13.0 13 0
    2004 Jets 16 16 56 770 13.8 43 4 2 -5 -2.5 -2 0
    2005 Jets 16 16 43 713 16.6 45 2 1 8 8.0 8 0
    2006 Jets 16 7 23 347 15.1 50 1 0 0 - 0
    Totals 84 51 191 3,032 15.9 73 16 6 34 5.7 16 0
He started only 7 games had 23 rec and 1 TD….Looks to me he is on the downspin….
27 catches/year……433 yards/year….2TDs/year. I think he fits the bill of less productive after he left the Titans.

  8. If $30 Million depicts 'GREAT' than there is alot of great players in this league..I'd say mediocore. OK for a #3 on that squad.
