Who's rooting for Schwartz to do well in Detroit?

I'm rooting for him. Although that doesn't change much. Detroit is my second team if there is such a thing. All my family lives up there and they are an NFC team to boot. Not only that, but if any team needs a winning football team in this day and age its Detroit. It is tuff times up there. I wish Schwartz the best in the motor city.

In a way i'm pullin for the guy. Detroit has been the doormat of the NFL for quite sometime and you figure at some point the franchise has got to turn around. Despite what i thought of Schwartz as a DC,i'm glad he finally got his chance. He's been pretty persistent about being a HC somewhere in the NFL and i cant knock the guy for that. Unfortunately its with the worst team in the NFL that has alot of areas that need improvement but it can be done with some time. I wouldnt mind seeing them shake up that division just for the simple fact that no one expects them to do anything next year.

Man would I love a job where the expectations were that low... I mean if Schwartzie wins 4 games he's turned them around. 6 games and he's a hero. If the unimaginable happens and he brings them to a perfectly average 8-8, and he's an instant legend in Detroit. Somewhere Jeff Fisher is thinking he should have taken that job.

i think within 3 season the Lions will be a mean defensive team.

And will be pretty good on offense with Matt Stafford and Calvin Johnson.

I don't mind if Detroit does better, but I don't really care. It's kind of like how I didn't become a Buffalo fan when Greg Williams became the head coach.

Come on, who isn't rooting for the lion's? The pity alone in me wants them to go to the SB..good luck though. Even the Packers, Bears, and Vikings fans feel sorry for them.

It won't take long with Schwartz for Detroit to ask for another bailout...
