George Wilson or Bernard Pollard?
I'm with Pollard a 100 percent!
I think your poll should be between wilson and whiffin.
I honestly don't know enough about Wilson to really say. All I know is Pollard is a hard hitter and I like that. We need a DB who can actually strike some fear into opposing players.
Fs vs ss makes no sense however.
Pollard is terrible in pass coverage. There's a reason he's on his 4th team in 5 years.
He's a thumper and that has a place on a defense. It's much harder to cover up his deficiencies with Michael Griffin than it is with Ed Reed, though.
I think Wilson should start and Pollard should play in situations where you want an in-the-box SS. That's not necessarily what I think will happen, though.
Tomato, tomato, same difference. If you tell me one can't play the other, I'd be suprised.
Wilson is the more all around safety while Pollard should just be a situational player.
Pollard is a box safety all day. Whiffin can't play strong. Wilson MIGHT be able to play free but I don't know his coverage skills. The cover skills make it potato tomato tho
If we do things right Pollard should be the guy. Babs didn't get beat deep much last year, the plays that burned us were vs the run, Babs missed a bunch of tackles and that ended up killing us ore than him being a liability in coverage.
This guy has Wilson and Pollard both ranked way higher than Griffin.
Yeah, it's fan-speak for BloatedReport.com but someone took the time to type it.. LOL
