Why is there a concensus about Childress getting fired? They went to the nfl championship last year!

It's not Childress fault that Bret Favre acts like a child every off season. Favre should make up his mind to play before camp opens. Childress can't control that except to tell favre to take a hike.

The Vikings have injuries this year. a starting CB is out for the season and Sidney Rice is still on the PUP for a hip. That's why they got Moss.

So what is Childress supposed to do? Coach up a 41 year old child who is hobbling around like a cripple with a broken ankle?

Hold on a second! You're trying to make an argument that the Philadelphia Eagles are NOT a well ran organization???? That's preposterous! Look at their winning percentage over the past 10 years, look at the number of playoff wins, look at the fact that outside the Colts, the Eagles are where Jeff Fisher goes shopping for free agents. No coaching turnover there. Something must be going right. As for allowing McNabb to be traded within the division, that was the only place willing to cough up two high round draft picks. McNabb is a shell of himself, and was looking for a big payday. They unloaded their 3rd best QB, and made away with future picks.

Childress could've not taken trips to Mississippi, get down on his knees, and...

    beg Favre to come back.

Viking players were the ones who went down there and talked him into playing.

By the time favre joined the team he didn't have time to get ready for the season. His rustiness cost them their first 2 games when they scored 9 and 10 points against the Saints and Fins and wasted good defensive efforts.

Then he got tendonistis in his arm and now the broken ankle.

Vikings players went... and Childress did too.

I bet they all feel pretty stupid now that they realize Favre sucks.

FYI the Eagles have made the playoffs 8 times in the last 10 years.

Personally i was very impressed with Kevin Kolb. He made some great throws under heavy pressure against us sunday. His stats were not that great because of the ints but the int Griffin got was because of pressure from Hayes and the 2nd int was meaningless at the end of the game.

I don't understand your point. What else could he do? Favre almost got them to the super bowl last year. They had to have him. Even if the result is not what they hoped it was the thing to do at the time.

It is Favre's fault for making it so difficult.
