Blake Bortles reminds me a lot of Ben Rothlesberger and if he falls to 7th overall I wouldn't be shocked to see us jump Minnesota and try and grab him. It all depends on if Jacksonville, Cleveland, and Oakland go with a QB though.

Bortles is a lot of size and equal amount of questions IMO.

Bortles is the best QB in this class, but still don't think he makes it to 7.

So was Big Ben, and look how his career worked out... Id take Bortles in a second if given the chance.

Big Ben wasn't exactly Peyton Manning coming out of college.

How stoked will everyone be if we somehow landed Bortles?

Id flip out and there would be footprints on the ceiling.

lol just because he's big like Ben doesn't mean he's Ben though.

There is not a single QB that plays just like another in the league.

Ben creates, extends plays and slings bombs during broken defenses.

Brady is cerebral and eats defenses by not making mistakes and trusting his WRs.

Manning plays head games, reads defenses well.

Rodgers throws lasers in a spread style offense while using his feet nicely.

Brees works an offensive system relying on a low key heavy run game with system RBs to force defenses to bite down giving him room to work vertically. Lots of seam routes.

None of these guys play alike at all. None of them carry the same presence to the field. Each very unique. "He's Big Ben 2.0" because he's big and runs around is something I think is over hyped. Does he have that tenacity to work deep and create like Ben? Bens case is very special IMO. Much like all the high end successful QBs.

I'm not saying hes a terrible prospect. Just that he's got his share of questions left to be answered.
