So our record would be better but we would be worse off?

I'm trying to put my arms around that concept of being worse off with PM. Yes having him means we don't have many top 10 picks but that is normally a good thing.

I never said we would be worse with Manning. I'm saying we would have been a better team with Manning and therefore our draft would have looked a lot different, due to getting later picks and other needs.

So what? You mean we can't draft Wright because he is off the board so we take Alshon Jeffrey's instead? Great!

You didn't say the roster would be different you said it would not be as good.

And this idea that because you have PM you don't need to draft o-linemen or WRs is just plain stupid. Where do you get that?

Somebody also said something about Mario Williams and how the benefit of going after Manning though unsuccessfully kept us from landing Williams and that we are somehow better off not having him. Better off not having a pro bowl DE with double digit sacks?

So instead of Wimbley who was a total waste of time and cost $6M a year we could have had Williams for 2X that and been worse off?

Mario williams at right end makes us a top 10 defense!

We don't even go to a Super Bowl with Manning and he likely retires after last year due to our horrible OLine.

The injuries we had up front the 2nd half of 2012 would have been a major problem for even PM. We had nobody at center or guard. Not even 2nd string guys.

I think we would have had a chance this year with our improved defense and depth at WR.
