What do you think about Marrone as HC and Mularkey as OC?

It would not be my top choice, but I think that I would like it better than Mularkey as the HC. This would let Mularkey do what he has proven to do best which is be an OC. While he was the OC in Pittsburgh and in Atlanta his offenses were very potent.

This would give us Lebeau and Mularkey as our co-ordinators. 2 guys that players like to play for.

I think Mularkey would be willing to be the OC because he isn't going to find a HC job anywhere else and he also knows what sort of talent Mariota is. I would think he would be happy to be the OC. Stay out of the spotlight and just coach ball.

Pass on everyone mentioned so far to have a confirmed interview with the Titans for the HC position.

The Stoolers were 7th, 8th and 19th in scoring during Mularkey's three years as OC. Not that bad, actually.

With the Falcons, the offense was 10th, 13th, 5th and 7th. Again, not that bad, but if you talked to Falcons fans (and I did) back then, they were very disappointed in Mularkey. With as much talent as the Falcons had on offense, their fans thought the offense should have scored a lot more. After all, they had a good, developing QB in Matt Ryan, a great RB in Michael Turner, great WR at the peak of his career in Roddy White, and a future HoF TE in Tony Gonzalez. All four of those guys were All-Pros and/or Pro Bowl selections in those four years. In 2011, Mularkey's last year in Atlanta, they added Julio Jones.

With all of that talent, Falcons fans expected a top-three or better offense every year and I would find it hard to argue with that.
