"Everywhere I've been I've had to adapt to who's there," Williams said. "I think the mark of a good staff is to decide what the players can do best and make sure we put them in those positions and let them do the best, and we're doing the same thing right now."

Williams has put together some of the league's top defenses in recent years, helping Tennessee (1997-2000), Buffalo (2001-03) and Washington (2004-07) reach the upper echelon in just about every statistical category.

Yep. Instead, ours knows that everyone does well, and makes them do the opposite.

    Funny...

Well, there are plenty of people on this board who DON'T think he's very good. I'm not one of them. I have some of his coaching tapes and he walks the walk and talks the talk. He not only says the right things...he tries to DO the right things. Like when he's showing a formation and a defense and one of his players is out of position, he doesn't go...that player's screwing up...he says...that guy shouldn't be there and that MY fault. If a player's NOT in the right position on the field, it's my fault.

He's also rather aggressive though not all the time and has had a lot of seasons where's he's gotten a lot more out of his D than the talent they have.

The fact that he's running the Jags D concerns me!

Hurts more to know he would have probably came here, and been happy. But we let him go to the Jags to keep...Schwartz.
