Praise the Lord!!! Can I get an Amen!!!
welcome to the wade Phillips show
don't worry they'll hire a sucky coach again.....
The logic is only weird if you believe Keenum is actually good, which I do not. If he "looks" good the Texans might choose to not draft a guy that actually is good. I'm hoping it works out like this:
1.Keenum looks like the answer
2. Houston decides that since Keenum is the answer they'll pass on drafting a potentially great QB like Bridgewater and use the pick on what they believe to be bigger areas of need.
3. Titans use their pick on a potentially great QB that Houston might have taken.
4. The league figures Keenum out by next season or he just reverts to being the average at best QB I think he is on his own.
Fortunately he'll be a temp .....I hope.
McNair is an idiot owner... Nice guy ... but he actually believed Case is the answer and thats what help get Kubiak out. Rick Smith is truly a problem and we need that guy to stay in charge. Just like Kubiak was forced to say he could work with David Carr the next guy will have to agree to keep Case Keenum.
Houston will be an after thought for another decade because of the Owner. Houston fans will be cursing him like they did Bud. Then he will sell the team.
Bob in no way thinks Case is the answer. Your just letting your blind hatred dictate your thinking.
As a matter of fact if you had listened to what he said instead of flapping your gums you would know that.
He actually said he wants to see IF Case is the answer and is giving him a chance to prove he is.
I heard every word he said. The fact that Case is still in the conversation is fact alone. Schaub played much better than Case and you Texan fans still want Case Keenum. He isnt the answer. I hope McNair makes the new coach play him. I hope the Texans draft defense and not a QB. He said Case showed flashes of brillance. Uh.. No he hasnt. No more than VY did and VY stunk. Case cant read defenses and the blitz makes him a bumbling fool. The Texans are in long term trouble. I cant be happier. McNair and his loyalty and bad decisions have damaged this franchise from a football standpoint. Go right ahead and defend it. IN THIS NFL you cannot go 2-14 and be in cap hell which is excactly where the Texans are.
