Because he came with no expectations and was meant to be a backup for the majority of the time.

    Thought that was obvious.

VY was the 3rd overall pick in 2006. He was supposed to do great things. He has done nothing - and before someone says he did do something, think again. Has he won a playoff game before? No. Therefore he has done nothing.

And don't even think about giving me the "well KFC was taken 5th overall" garbage. That was in 1995. He came with no expectations whatsoever, period. Sadly enough, KFC was a far better QB than VY. He actually had some success at times.

I think VY is the dumbest player to ever dawn a Titans jersey. I'm not denying that he had a $300,000 moronic birthday party. I just don't think any bank gives out a $300,000 loan to someone for a birthday party. Especially if he really couldn't pay it back like everyone is suggesting.

VY has said his financial troubles have been blown out of proportion in the past. He didn't look like he was living that bad in the ESPN segment a couple months ago. I just think most of this is tall tales.

He is better than Jamarcus PupleDrank. That is about the only positive thing I can say about VY.

Sure, a bank won't give you or me a $300k loan for a birthday party, but things work differently when you are a multimillionaire.

And just because he is broke doesn't mean he is living badly. Being a broke millionaire means you have probably $10M in debt, and $9M in assests ... not exactly living badly, but still broke.

wasn't VY duped by his financial adviser? Isn't he in the middle of a lawsuit with him? That probably explains the whole thing..

I am not a VY fan/apologist or whatever. I was glad he left, and I am laughing at him now for being such an moron ... but to say that KFC was a FAR better QB is just dumb. KFC was a terrible QB. In 2008 he just happened to be on a team with a very strong run game, and an amazing D, and other than '08 he was worthless.
