    ------

Frank Gore will get there next year unless he has a career ending injury/retires.

    ------

    CJ is at 7965
    ------

12 of the 28 are Hall of Famers
19 of the 28 are from 2000 or later.
Soon to be 20 of 29
2 are still playing (soon to be 3)
    -------

LT is probably going to make it.
    Bettis probably will

    Edge *perhaps?*
Below Edge, no one is making the Hall of Fame if they're not there already (excluding AP, who will make it, and Steven Jackson, who won't).
So Fred Taylor, Corey Dillon, Warrick Dunn, Watters, Jamal Lewis (2000 yard rusher), Thomas Jones, Tiki, Eddie, Ottis Anderson and Ricky Williams are out.
That means, at the very least, CJ will need 12,246 yards to be a consideration (unless he wins a Superbowl).
At this rate, he will need at least another 4000+ yards to do that.
He's 27 and getting worse every year.

    He's not making it.

CJ is going nowhere but out the door of the titans facility and right to the unemployment line if he keeps this effort up. He will be behind Britt filing the paper work. Seriously if it wasn't for football I do wonder what those two would be doing career wise!

lol. I don't get it, besides your last sentence, that's exactly my point. HES 27. he only needs 4000 more yards. It's a wrap.

Thank you for this breakdown. I've always thought CJ had an outside shot at the hall if we could ever get our sh*t together and be a consistently good team but he is facing some pretty long odds. Anything is possible and we've all seen players be able to extend their career with a change of scenery (Lynch, Dillon) but those are some very good, very accomplished backs that CJ will be vying for to get into the hall. Don't really see it happening even if he does end up getting the numbers. We're just not a house hold name and right now neither is he honestly.

And that is the reason I want him off this team. That is exactly what he has done and intends to do.
