Vince Young vs Kordell Stewart

Jesse, why are you complaining about the amount of VY threads?? I'm pretty sure you have posted more comments about Rusty's greatness than passes he completed in school. Let the kid play a game before you drool over him like he's Tom Brady. Your nonsense gets old real quick.

 

Kordell lasted that long because he was mentally tough and could take the boos without an emotional meltdown. He was also more respectful of his coaches. Unfortunately for Kordell, the owner was a hands off guy.

 

Bingo. The main difference between Kordel and VY is mental toughness (physical toughness as well) and no way Kordel lasts 8 years if he had the luny episodes VY had.

The Steelers figured out they couldn't win with Kordel and decided to go in a different direction. He was in the playoffs but he simply wasn't able to get the team over the top.

Exactly the same issues with VY so far who has played in one playoff game and lost. But the main issue is VY's meltdowns. Everyone needs to focus on that and that alone because that is why we are having these discussions.
