twitter? really? seriously? Since when were people interesting?

No idea what twitter is but I have heard it mentioned a lot recently and I have no interest/desire to even check it out.

Facebook is enough.

Someone want to explain to me what exactly twitter is? I'm with Gunny... i have no need. I've owned a facebook page for years (back when it was college kids only) and have visited it less than 50 times (same goes with my myspace page). But i would, however, like to know exactly what everyone else is talking about....

Twitter is just updating people on what your doing and people "follow" you as in when you update your status other people know what your doing.

For me I use facebook and I like it. I don't get twitter, I use facebook for my status updates why do I need twitter? Just so I can update my status more? Who cares?

Twitter is a site that allows people to "micro blog" their daily life no matter how mundane it may be. Some twitters, as their called, will update you on a minute to minute basis of how exciting, cue to sarcasm, their lives are. Cruds rendition of "tweeting" was quite spot on. However, there are a few tweets (there's an entire hidden language behind it) are actually worth a read.

Everyone has those friends on facebook that overuse the 'status update' feature, and post the most pointless, nonsensical, random updates.
Twitter is a place where that's acceptable and no one minds, because it's full of THOSE people that the rest of us hate.
