Can anyone help me out with something....

I'm trying to follow the teams 2012 spending, and I'm having some issues tracking down all our players contracts.

Jamie Harper, Karl Klug, and Leroy Harris are the only 3 players on the books that I can't figure the contracts for.

If anyone can provide me with the numbers, I'll be able to tell you exactly how much we have available for spending heading into next season.

Without those 3 contracts, I can tell you we still have over $30M we can use to attract free agents with. The Hawkins, Otto, and Stevens deals don't even break $5M for 2012, and the $30M the front office claims they have to spend, it's about $5M more.

So any help would be appreciated.

I think I saw this somewhere else but that remaining 30M doesn't include our draft picks salary does it?

    http://blogs.sun-sentinel.com/sport...l-salary-cap-projections-for-2012-season.html

This is a link to an article that has most teams 2012 cap number. We have the 2nd least on the books at 93mil. The projected cap is supposed to be 125mil and with the new CBA you can actually spend 3mil over the cap and it just counts against your next yrs cap number. So we certainly have between 30-35mil to spend.

Cincy only has 80mil spent so they really have room to work with. I could see them making a move for Ray Rice or Matt Forte if either of them reach the open market.

Harper & Klug were signed with undisclosed terms. I'm not sure if it would be possible to find their yearly amounts on the internet.

Julius Thomas: Signed a four-year, $2.42 million contract. The deal includes a $384,000 signing bonus.

    Davon House: Signed a four-year, $2.34 million contract. The deal included a $300,580 signing bonus. 2011: $375,000, 2012: $465,000, 2013: $555,000, 2014: $645,000,

Those two guys above were drafted before and after Jamie Harper...so you can probably guesstimate he's making 2.38 total contract with a 342K SB (so 85,500 per year against the cap)..his salary for next season is probably around that 465 K mark so probably around 550K cap hit.

    .......

the DJ Williams (TE) on GB who was picked before klug was signed to this deal:

    7/28/2011: Signed a four-year, $2.238 million contract. The deal included a $198,000 signing bonus. 2011: $375,000, 2012: $465,000, 2013: $555,000, 2014: $645,000,

Klug's contract has to be real similar to this...Jacquizz Rodgers on falcons who was 2 picks after him signed a a four-year, $2.23 million contract. The deal included a $191,000 signing bonus.

    .......

just found this link too has a salary # for Harris, klug and harper

That "borrowing" thing isn't new, and for the record, I've been assuming the 2012 cap will be the same as the 2011 cap. If it turns out to be more then great, but if not, my numbers will be valid with a little extra cushion, which is only good news for us.

The article Titans2004 gave us says we should set aside $5M to sign our rookies, but I've set aside $7.1M since that's what we spent last year.
