Let's be real here. Bradley has kept this team together with his positive attitude. He is a Pete Carroll product. I don't think the Jags have better talent that ANY team in the AFCS. They clearly aren't world beaters. But they are playing well as a team. And that is on the coach. I think the Jags are a decent example of how important a HC's personality can affect a team's attitude and approach. Now, I wouldn't be honest if I didn't think the Texans' players have "checked out" mentally and their desire to win games is MUCH lower than at the beginning of the season. I suspect we lose to the Jags and win a close suck-fest with the Texans (if our win doesn't put their draft pick behind ours) to go 1-5 in the division. I'd say the Texans beat us also if that scenario does not put their draft pick behind ours. That is how confident I am that teams' don't place winning individual games as the highest priority for the benefit of the franchise. And no, I'm not saying they will "throw" the game. I'm saying that they will be field testing players for next year regardless of the risk it puts their team at for losing that game.
