Aaron Maybin is really a LB,... i watched numerous games over the weekend and i saw average DE's get great penetration by rushing from the standup position, Klug and Sheppard must be used more at DE at this position.

They should just bring Jacob Ford or Tony Brown back. At least when they were healthy they did produce

    word...

id much rather have those guys back than seemingly anyone in that list...

I cant belive the titans cut Ford and didn't bring in anyone good to replace him. When you cut, your supposed to UPGRADE. how was it logical to go into week 1 missing our two top DE's than cutting our best rotational player.....

teams r paying more and more to DE's, and what do titans do, go into week one without their best three or top 3 of 4....i mean c'mon

You do realize the only reason we cut Brown was because his knees were f'd up, right?

This is the Titans "updating some files" in case Morgan and J. Jones are not as close as we've been led to believe. I hope to hear one or both are back at practice today even if it's limited.

Take heed for future reference all the so called speed rushers that have gone bust in the last few years. Maybin, Brown, Hughes. We should not even consider a guy who is not close to 270 lbs and can't be respectful against the run.

Maybin wasn't even worth a 4th rd pick i have no idea what the Bills were thinking. Nfl.com has him listed at 228. This is not 1960!

    Brown is worth looking at.

I honestly don't mind Marks and Sheppard rotating at DE against the Ravens. They are going to try and run the ball against us so the extra size is helpful. In a shootout with a pass oriented team we would have a problem.

Does seem odd that ford was cut since they knew about the injuries at DE. Ford was not horrible and he knows the system having spent all camp with the team. Keeping Ford would have meant putting Clayton on the practice squad but that isn't a huge risk he was a 7th rd pick.

Picking up another DE means somebody has to be moved out to make room anyway. Brown is comparable to Ford but Ford is deacon Jones, Bruce smith and Reggie White rolled into one compared to Maybin.
