Titans Season Finale Start May Be Moved
SUMMARY: Depending on the outcome of games this weekend and their impact on the playoff picture, the Titans season finale against the Patriots may be moved to 3:15 or 7:30 on December 31. The game is currently scheduled for noon at LP Field, but with the league's "flex scheduling," it could be move to a later time. The last time the Titans played on national television was on Dec. 25, 2004, when they lost to the Broncos.

Where is this from? Under the flex scheduling rules I read, it says that the league will announce the games that are being moved to prime time at least 12 days in advance......
There is a link to a Tennessean article in another thread.
There is an exception to the "12 day" rule at the end, and they may decide as late as the 26th for this move, if it takes that long to get the playoff picture cleared up.
The goal of the whole "flex schedule" is to put games with playoff implications on the air rather than just run with meaningless games on national television.
new years eve is just another Sunday.
What better way could there be for a Titans fan to see in the New Year than to watch them win out
Make the playoffs on new years eve. What a piss up that would be.
Our guys aren't used to playing on such a big stage, I think that's a disadvantage to us.
actually i think VY plays well under pressure.
It might instead be an advantage..
by pressure i mean VY will know that millions of national viewers will be watching.
There are many games that day that have playoff implications. If NE is already in, and there is a game that will decide if one of the two teams makes the playoffs, they will probably opt for that one.
