Only reason why I wouldn't go WR is because we're not a pass happy team or the talent at the QB position to deliver the ball so we wouldn't get full value with Green or Jones.

IMO waiting another to draft a QB is the worst thing the Titans can do. Running backs tend to only have 5-8 really great years these days and CJ is about to start season number 4 next year. If you wait until next year to draft a qb you have a 5th year starting running back with a rookie qb that won't' really be ready to play at a high level for another two years. By the time that quarterback is really ready CJ will be in year 7 or 8 and most likely will have already peaked. I think you either take the quarterback this year and if you don't you try and get a veteran through free agency or trade. Kevin Kolb would probably be the best fit right now because he is ready to take over a team and CJ is still in his prime. Trade for Kolb, try and get AH back from the skins, and take the best player available at 8 that isn't a qb.

I understand what you are saying about WR being a wasted pick. I really do...but when you see how an elite receiver like Britt makes us look so much better (when he is able to play)....I think adding another one would make whoever ends up being QB look a lot better than what we saw this year.

Our passing game looks loads better with Britt; adding a 2nd Britt type would have to do wonders. JMO. AJ Green or Julio could be that additional weapon that takes our passing game to another level.

As we all know, this selection could go one of two ways. It all depends on who is in Nashville come April, Jeff Fisher or Vince Young? My personal preference is that VY gets the boot. Fisher has a solid staff around that team. (Jim Washburn) brought Jason Babin in and wasn’t even thought to be a factor and produces 12.5 sacks and his first career Pro Bowl. (Mike Heimerdinger) Runs a solid offense and has rising stars in Kenny Britt, Jared Cook Jr., and we all already know Mr. CJ2K. In my opinion this team could be great if it had an actual “Franchise Quarterback”. Think with the receivers, running back, and o-line we have, this offense could be one of the leagues best. If Vince is out of Nashville I believe “with the eighth overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft the Tennessee Titans select Ryan Mallett QB, Arkansas”. I know there is a lot of hype around Jake Locker and a rising Blaine Gabbert, but Mallett has lit it up in the SEC the past two years throwing 30 TD’s each of the past two seasons in one of the toughest conferences in the nation and Kerry Collins is a very similar pocket passer that could really help Mallett for the future of the organization. Andrew Luck would be nice, but we all know he will be taken within the first minute or so of the draft. I believe Mallett is the franchise quarterback that would fit great in Nashville. He would definitely help open the running game with CJ and throw deep to Kenny Britt. On the other side if the Titans do fire Fisher, Vince would reign supreme in Nashville…….. at least in Bud Adam’s eyes. He is a winner, but he is also a whiner. To much drama for your mama in his case. Throwing shoulder pads into the stands, cursing the coach under his breath while they’re huddled as a team, and what’s the deal about not coming to practice/texting Fisher an apology when he should have manned up and apologized in front of the whole team, but oh well let’s just hope Bud doesn’t turn into another Al Davis……. Basically if Vince does stay I see us picking up Marcell Dareus, Robert Quinn, Patrick Peterson, Janoris Jenkins, or Stephen Paea. Basically, any of these players could come in right off the bat and start. If Vince were coming back I honestly would not mind any of the players that I just mentioned. All solid players and I think this draft if so deep with defensive talent they could not go wrong with anyone of these guys. All in all I really hope for Mallett and think Vince’s time is up in Tennessee.

Yeah, I could see us getting Dareus or Paea.

You guys think Green has more upside than Julio? I just don't see it.

Yes, but not by a lot. Personally I hope we don't take either in the first. I'd rather us take Mallett, Prince, Peterson or Paea, and take a WR like Michael Floyd in the 2nd or Greg Little in the 3rd. This is a DEEP WR draft.

I agree 100% add a QB like Mallett and deep-threat WR in the 2nd or 3rd round would make our offense that much more dangerous.

We should draft Joe Average, DE from Western Connecticut. Undersized and didn't start in college, but I bet he'll work hard at the combine. Because that's all that matters, working hard.

We had/have Randy freakin' Moss. What in the world makes you think another WR is the answer to our problems?

When you have no running game because you have no run support, it tends to limit the options of the passing game.

I doubt we take a WR early in the draft.

We have Kenny Britt, who had flashes of greatness, Damian Williams looks solid, Nate "Butter-Fingers" Washington is decent, and Justin Gage. We have servicable players. I could see us taking a 4+ round WR. We have biggger needs early: CB/QB/OL/DL/LB..
