Titans to make switch in secondary

    The Titans plan to place cornerback Coty Sensabaugh on Injured Reserve due to a left foot injury he suffered in Sunday’s game against the Cardinals.

    Sensabaugh served as the team’s starting nickelback the first 14 games of the season, and played well. He finished the season with 37 tackles and six passes defensed.

    To take Sensabaugh’s place on the 53-man roster, the Titans plan to promote cornerback Khalid Wooten from the practice squad.

    I would argue about the 'played well' part. Is the bar really that low?

    He's been decent... And I think he can remain our NB, I think he gets better over the next couple years...

    NOW, if they think he can replace Vern, that's CRAZY talk. They better resign that kid. People will argue that, no he will want too much money. But let me tell you people, you will ONLY win a championship - hell or remain competitive - if you KEEP your good players.

    I made a post about Stewy, that guy needs to be cut ASAP. ATV will essentially take his salary. You only get good, or remain good, by replacing old/highly paid players, by young guys (i.e. draft a LT/RT to replace Stewy) and then paying young vets that deserve it (ATV).

    I did not want to sign Verner, and was trying to make a case against signing him.

    Yes, he gets beat on go routes and isnt the fastest CB out there and has been beaten several times. That being said, I couldnt find enough dirt on him to build a case.

    Resign him.

    He will give up some plays, but thats when our DC needs to use our safeties to help him (yes Griffin, Im looking at you)
