    Word?

How about telling it how it really is? Oh that's right, that might hurt your argument quite a bit wouldn't it..... So according to you, Vince's best day passing was for 253 yards? What about that beautiful 4th quarter drive to beat the Cardinals, you know the 99-yard drive that C.J. didn't once touch the ball? Vince finished that game with 387 yards passing. What's really good with you man? Follow dbc and Fishface out the door.

Vince Young single handedly has dismantled this franchise. Everything that is happening now is because of VYs immaturity and pediatric-tantrums. I don't really care about Fisher being fired, but the timing of everything is absolutely horrendous. This should have happened 4 weeks ago and we should have already had 10 interviews in and be filling out the staff. Now we're extremely behind the 8ball and playing for scraps. not good.

Actually VY is the only reason this franchise as been remotely relevant the last 5 years despite Fisher being the coach.

Dude, have you not been watching the news today? Bud Adams had full intention on bring Fisher back for next year when they met a month ago. Since then Fisher has pulled some stunts and even tried to get some 1 year deals done without Adams knowledge. Also he demanded that Adams let him hire his son and really has not done anything that they agreed on a month ago. Oh poor Fisher being a victim. I've never seen a coach that makes his followers into zombies.

this except without the releasing part..... Vince is our best option at QB.

His contract is up in 1 year. We'll need him at least until then. I think what's left of the titans front office should give him one final chance.... everyone kiss and make up. If the new HC can actually use VY/CJ as a combo in the backfield combined with a balanced offense I really think we can do wonders. VY never got a fair shot with Fisher.

I've still seen no official word on what will happen with Vince yet but I will expect Wyatt and Co. to ask for sure. I've got my popcorn ready.

You're right.. Vince is the reason CJ ran for 2000 yards last year and 1400 this year. CJ and Kenny Britt have been basically the only playmakers on offense the past 2 years. Wanna know why our run game was not as good this year? Amano, Harris etc trying to fill the void left by Mawae, and Jake Scott played terribly this year. Our interior line is just not that good right now, where it's been solid in the past.

You can try to act like Vince is some godsend, and a lot of you are using his QB rating of 93 or whatever it was this year as an argument, but it's a lame argument. Sure, Vince cut down on his interceptions this year.. His TD to turnover ratio still sucks because he gets antsy whenever he feels any pressure and holds the ball over his head, leading to hella fumbles (Hint: fumbles aren't calculated into QB rating.)

Let me ask you this, were you happy with the way Kerry Collins played this year?... Me either. His QB rating was 82.

Point being.. CJ is going to make whoever is under center look better than they are, he's that explosive. I'd imagine you know this, but by saying VY is the reason this franchise is relevant, it's tough to tell.
    1 people high five this.
