Titans Re-Sign Al Woods

Good, smart signing

 

We had to make this move and we may have even overpaid. There's no way we could go into the draft without a NT.

 

Any idea why Craig Stevens gets re-signed before Woods?

 

Craig Stevens has no reason to try to test the market.

"Hi Craig, we're interested in bringing you-"

"YES!"

 

But it has to make you wonder what Robinson sees.

Stevens is not some All-World blocker he's made out to be. He's sort of average as a blocker.

How's he keep coming back?

 

None.

But stevens probably accepted the initial offer, completely different situation. Woods obviously wanted to test the market

Who else was linked to Woods?

 

Sort of average? That's debatable. Would you rather go back to Jared Cook blocking? Stevens has value.

He is a better run blocker than Walker, and Walker was suppose to be a "great" blocker when we signed him. If anyone is average at blocking, it's Walker.
