He was decent for a while, then HOF worth in his contract year. He also gave us one of the low points of our franchise's existence when he stomped on the guys face.

That's what Manning has to deal with all year long.

    Can't wait.

Playing strong and weak side and long enough arms to keep some blockers off of him. Wonder if he will try to put on 10-15lbs to fit our scheme better or just rotate in on passing situations

He's a DE. 6-4 long arms. Lined up hand on the ground in a hybrid front in passing situations last year. A little light for our new base scheme, but I like him for this price.

Rounds 2-4 are strong for CB in the draft this year right? Casey Heyward or similar player in the 3rd sounds about right for our mostly zone defense. He compares to Verner according to the NFL network.

When I first saw this, I though 5 years, 35 mil for 7 sacks in 11, and 7.08 average for his career? I would think at least 9. But looking at the Titan scheme and who is around him, it could be a good deal.

    I'm a bit wary of the signing because he's a 3-4 player in a 4-3 system. But it's a decent deal.

I wouldn't be surprised if we try to re-sign Hayes for depth as well.
