Titans Logo Redesign

It's a pretty ridiculous logo.
Thumbtack is supposed to be a sword - aka lamest sword ever.
The three stars aren't positioned correctly nor are they the correct color (should be white).
I like hot rod flames - but this isn't that...
The red should go..

 

I've not seen it discussed before but it dawned on me that that possibly represents Greek Fire, which rains down from a position onto it's victims - and in that case would be more accurate at an angle. I kinda like the angle if they stick w fire.
Just me though..
